This will be a shortened fishing report as its been put together at one of our other fishery lodges

Another challenging character building week. Water temperature rarely dropping below 20 degrees.

Early in the week Mr N Cheetham fished skinny buzzers on a floating line with a long cast to catch 3 fish whilst over deep water. Ian Jobe also caught 3 fish on a fast sinking line and a black and green tadpole. Mark hunt caught two fish on an intermediate and kinkier booby

Thursdays and Friday both started much cooler and overcast , fish could be seen rising across the reservoir until the sun broke through around 10 am. Members Roy Swinfield and Lindsay Bates caught two each on dries. Ian Jobe was back this time on his float tube, he used his knowledge he had learnt from Wednesday to catch 6 fish again on a black and green lure fished deep.

A tough weekend with most anglers choosing to watch the football. Members Dave Chadwick and Steve Lawrence had a morning boat and caught 2 fish each on washing line buzzers or a blob both fished on a floating line.

The cooler mornings water temperature is bringing the trout to the surface. General consensus.. choose a cooler morning to fish dries or persevere with fast sinking lines throughout the day

Clarity of the Eyebrook remains excellent with little weed growth which bodes well for the bank fishing later on in the year once normal water temperatures resume.
